Out Petfinder account has been restored! The Petfinder staff were wonderful, thank you Petfinder.
So, Saturday February 6th, 2021 our Petfinder account was hacked. The hackers completely took it over! They are trying to scam money from unsuspecting people. Petfinder quickly disabled our account and investigated the incident. They were able to restore our account to prior to the hack.
All of our adopter’s information is stored in a completely different system, that is not accessible from Petfinder, so it was not in danger from this incident.
Remember, we never require any money to apply or view any of our pets.
