Chase – German Shepherd Dog

Name: Chase

Breed: German Shepherd Dog

Date Of Birth: 11/5/2018

Color: Bi-color

Sex: Male

Description:

Chase was rescued from a CA high-killed shelter and transferred to a Canada rescue where he under went some obedience training and was in foster care, but due to circumstance beyond his control was transferred to our MD rescue and sent our trainer for assessment and training for several months. It was there that it was discovered, Chase’s past history of abuse sometime during his puppy hood and teen years. Although he is a dufus and ultimately a big baby, he does require an experience and patient human or family to share his life with. Someone who will not give up on him and is patience with him and understands him. He requires some special handling due to his abuse and prefers a harness vices a leash when going on long walks. He knows all commands and does pretty good listening.

He would do well as a single dog although he does get along with other breeds. He likes all the attention to himself. He loves to play with balls and chew toys.
We do have teenagers and he gets along with them and loves them too but unsure about smaller kids or toddlers. Highly recommend a home with older kids and experience Shepard lovers.
