We placed Curly into his forever home! We recently received an update on him.
“Curly is now Bodi (the name means ‘one who teaches’). He is settling in nicely. A friend loaned us a larger kennel/cage and he seems fine being in it. His house-breaking training is going well, and his overall demeanor is good and gentle. He gets loved up everyday. Even giving him a bath last week went pretty well. His cuteness was never in question.”
We periodically check up on our placements. Sometimes our new family’s will update us before we follow up. Occasionally, a family shares even more than a causal update. My wife received a signed copy of a book, Frankie – The BIGGEST dog that ever was!
I am sharing this with you because, sometime I wonder why we do what we do. When a family responds it reminds me why. Sure we do it for the dogs but really it is not just the dogs we are helping. I guess what I am really trying to say is, we do make a difference and thank you to those of you who share.
