Quick Snapshot
You do not always have time to get the perfect photograph. My daughter caught these two photographs while I was driving. She could only maneuver so far with her seat belt on. So now we have two photographs that are not perfect, what do we do? Edit them of course.
Now editing photographs can be intimidating, but it does not have to be. Just start off only doing basic editing, using your favorite image editing software. Choosing the right image editing software might be as simple as what is already preinstalled on your device. Image editing software deserves it own article.
There is a paper towel roll in the seat in the above photo. We tried moving it only to disturb Rocket. After a few minutes he settled back down in the other seat. Sometime you just need to capture the moment and deal with composition later. So what is wrong with these two photographs? First there is the paper towel roll in the first photograph. Then there is messy carpet. My biggest issue with both photographs are the angles. Now you may use angles for a desired effect, but that is a whole other subject.
I freehand rotated three of the following photographs. That process creates blank spots in the photograph. I cropped each photograph in varying amounts. One photograph I cropped in close into Rockets head and shoulders. For two of the photographs I created a blurred background to fill the blank spots created when they were rotated.
