Description: Oscar is from Georgia and has been through a lot- completely misunderstood and abandon, he is a very loving Golden Retriever/lab retriever mix who wants nothing more
He is awesome with kids and very housebroken. He will wait by the door until he gets to go outside. He loves toys and he loves to cuddle and sleep with his person.
He is treat motivated and knows basic commands. With the right training, he would make a great service dog too, he is smart and loves to play but is a quick learner too. Oscar has shown no dog aggression since being in our rescue even when other dogs may lunge or bark at him, he remains nonreactive. Oscar is a favorite among our rescue and family. He loves walks, car rides, hiking, and being with his family.
Our rescue does have cats and although he knows they are here in our cat room, he has never shown any interest in them at all.
